The Fashion Files… A Caribou Blue Saturday

I am thrilled to present the details of what has become one of my favorite outfits of the 2015 fashion year. A super cute collection featuring a skirt by one of my favorite new brands Shein and a vintage top by one of my long-standing favorites, Express. I have been searching every single store in my area for a cute denim mini. I mean, it had become an obsession. Why? Well, not only does the mini show off our well-toned legs, but these little skirts also can easily be converted to a fall/winter item.
And did I already mention how comfy this outfit was to wear all day? I didn’t want to take it off after I got home. LOL This was a particularly exciting Saturday because I had partnered up with Caribou Coffee’s #12HrAdventure campaign. My sissy and I had so much fun. For our segment, we presented a series of photographs that showed what it was like to spend 12 hours in the life of a fashion blogger. We got the party started by creating a mock up of our featured outfit on Polyvore.
From there, it was a day of fun, food, shopping. I got some really cute embellishments for the Dream scrapbook I’ve been working on. I found a new favorite craft store while we were out, a scrapbookers dream. LOL The entire aisle was filled with stickers, embellishments, inserts, cards… you name it. We’re headed back to this store today, so be on the lookout for a new edition of Scrapbook Art Sunday that will feature our ventures.
Of course I stole a little time for the writing as well. You can read all about the full adventure here.
