The Fashion Files… River Romance

I cannot believe I forgot to post the outfit featured in this edition of the Fashion Files. I call this look River Romance for two reasons. First, this marks my first official entry as a model in the world of fashion blogging and secondly, these photos represent a significant change in my life.

I have always been into fashion, even since the elementary school days. I knew I wanted to be in the industry and that finding my place was going to take some time. As a single mom, I wanted to showcase fun, but affordable items. Fashion needs to compliment your lifestyle. However, catering to your style should not become the thing that destroys your budget. Eventually, I overcame my camera phobia (much to the surprise of my family and friends) and then… Fast forward a year and Live Well… Be Fabulous has finally hit 120,000 views!

I would like to take this moment to thank all the great bloggers who have helped me to spread the word about this blogazine, especially Taylor Bradford, the lifestyle blogger genius behind Pink Heels Pink Truck. Taylor makes sure all my links get submitted to so many great parties. I don’t know what I would do without her. If you are a blogger and are looking to expand your audience, then you should totally hire Taylor.

I have met so many fabulous new friends since I started this journey and cannot wait for day that I get to meet some of these fabulous folks in person. Enjoy the pictures of the beautiful Eno River and the super fun outfit featured in this segment of the Fashion Files!

The dress and sweater are a pretty combo. Not really “geranium red” (this week’s theme) but whatever, right?

  4. Love the lightness of a sundress, yours is very pretty on you, and the ruffles of the cardi with it x
