She passed away almost 50 years ago, yet the Pinterest board I have dedicated to her has more followers than the ones created for my fantasy novels. She has a line of clothing (seriously, I’m wearing MM undergarments right now).
She was recently chosen as the new face of Max Factor’s line of products chosen to celebrate their 80th birthday. You can read more about it here: http://dlisted.com/2015/01/05/marilyn-monroe-is-the-new-face-of-max-factor/.
I don’t think MM ever found a camera that didn’t love her. And… she’s a Gemini girl like me! 🙂
Marilyn continues to dominate both the fashion and beauty scenes. She’s classy, gorgeous, authentic (yes, size 10 is beautiful)… the original agent of fabulosity. Without further ado, I give you a specially prepared gallery of Queen Marilyn Monroe.
I love Marilyn! I have a few photos of her in my bedroom, as well as James Dean and Audrey Hepburn. She is one of my biggest inspirations. Not only was she beautiful and talented, but she was a strong, smart woman! Not to mention that seeing an average sized woman be looked up to as beautiful is always good to see. Awesome post.
I need to add her pics back in the gallery. After I moved from my wordpress.com to wordpress.org blog here, I lost SOOOO many pics. Thanks for stopping by and giving me all this comment love Maddie!
She is still considered a classic beauty and so many women still aspire to look like her. I love that she isn’t a stick figure but a full figured woman. I always thought women should look like women. She is a great example of having curves and fat without being fat. She is an inspiration to women around the world and I think it is amazing, even in death, she lived on in so many people’s minds and hearts.
Britanica, I think we can truly say Marilyn makes up the spirit of the Fabulous woman hands down. I’m always excited to find new and exciting ways to showcase her beautiful pics. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
