Lovers of Blue -Your deepest need is to find inner peace and truth, to live your life according to your own ideals and beliefs without having to change your inflexible viewpoint of life to satisfy others.
Today’s color wheel was inspired by the beauty of the day. Nothing more, and definitely nothing less. For the past few weeks, I’ve seen more cloudy days than I care to experience. The pleasure of being able to enjoy a 50-degree day in the middle of winter makes me feel all warm and happy inside.
I don’t know how you feel about it, but gazing at shades of blue leaves me with a sense of peace, a sea of tranquility in the midst of a whirlwind of a busy life. Blue feeds my imagination like no other color… well except purple.
I leave you with a verse from Louis Armstrong’s What a Wonderful World and this glorious gallery of my favorite blue images.
I see skies of blue and clouds of white
Bright, blessed days and dark sacred nights
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world
– Louis Armstrong
What a beautiful quote! I find blue calming, as well, but that’s to no surprise since it’s supposed to be relaxing. Where I live it’s been roughly 70 degrees everyday this past two weeks and I am not too happy about it. I would prefer 50-60 degrees so I can wear my winter clothes! Awesome post!
Hi Maddie. I think I’ll swap places with you! LoL We might have snow coming in this week. Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment.
I believe what color we are most attracted to, we most aspire to be or have. Blue is peace and happiness. It makes sense. I love blue shades. I would love to be at peace with myself and my body. Purple is a color I am attracted to from time to time and that is for healing among other things. I think it is amazing how colors interact with our moods and brain receptors.
I’m a purple girl, oh, and sometimes I like pink as well. I need to do a color analysis on pink. I can imagine that would mean something along the line of prissy maybe? Lol thx for the comments!
