Well, I didn’t post a TipsyTuesday quote last week and folks tweeted asking me what happened. LoL I didn’t realize my obsession with wine had become so addictive to my readers. So… I came up with an exciting idea to go along with my weekly musings into the world of wine and the curious adventures of those of us who love it.
I’ve decided to post a series called 21 Days of Loving Me starting with this post today. This week’s self-love advice comes from the queen of funny… Lucille Ball.
“Love yourself first… and everything else falls in line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.” ~Lucille Ball
She has a good point, doesn’t she? Each day, I’ll post something you can either do or use to enjoy the day of love… Valentine’s Day. Don’t worry, if you’re single like me. There’ll be goodies for you too. I like to consider the overall purpose of Valentine’s Day when I’m deciding on what to write about it. Love is for everyone. Matters of the heart don’t discriminate or care whether you’re married or single or somewhere between those two things.
Today, I’m sharing these gorgeous sets of wine glasses I found while gearing up for my upcoming festivities.
I hope you find one that you like!
Items in this set from top left to bottom right:
- Wisegeek tumbler with red hibiscus on top: $8.95 Bostonmagazine.com
- Purple glasses: Vera Wang Hue Stemless Glasses $30 Wedgwood.co.uk
- Set of 4 Stemless wineglasses: $36 (sold separately) Bostonmagazine.com
- Martha Stewart Collection Set of 4 Stemless Blue Tritan Wine Glasses: $25 Macys.com
I’ve noticed how much these tumblers are on trend at the moment for drinking wine from. I still prefer to drink from a glass with a stem, but my friend served me some red wine in a very pretty tumbler and I was quite taken with the glass. I have noticed quite alot on TV recently these types of glasses.
I only recently discovered them myself, but the right one is adorable. Thx for stopping by today.
