Fashion Friday Focuses on Valentine’s Day Gear Part 1

FashionFridayValentinesDayGearThe color red made a surprising comeback during this past winter. And guess what? It’s still going strong just in time for Valentine’s Day.

What’s even more exciting about all this? Several variations of the hue exist, ranging in tone from the sleekest, sexiest dark reds (see Marsala, the color of the year) to vibrant and robust shades, making it seem as though the red was lifted straight off the skin of a Tuscan grown tomato.

I don’t know about you, but I’m super excited about this particular color’s return. There’s just one problem, though. My wardrobe only has one red piece of clothing hidden among a sea of other colors. However, I’ve gotten creatively bold when stepping outside the black clothing box, so I’ll be taking care of that little issue after today’s shopping spree. I’m so proud of me. LoL

I have decided to not let the lack of red in my style arsenal get me down. For this week’s Fashion Friday segment, I want to show you a few gems I discovered during my quest for the perfect Valentine’s Day outfit.

So, I took to the streets (the virtual ones, this time) and ran across this gorgeous outfit (modeled by Lovely Pepa) and a pair of wedgie booties.

    Who can go wrong with red during the Jan. and Feb. months? That sweater looks so cute with those wedge heels. I personally like deep dark red.
