The Fabulous Home Christmas Tree Decoration Magic
Decorating Christmas trees makes me so happy about the start of the holidays. I’m one of those folks who goes all out with the decoration. When placed in the correct positions, holiday ornaments turn an ordinary tree into an extraordinary one.
Yes, I use artificial trees. The benefits of being able to use my same tree year after year outweighs the scent of line cone novelty associated with live trees. For me, the decoration process outweighs the need to have a pine cone scented living room. For some folks, the allure of Christmas means keeping a tradition such as a new ornament to mark a milestone such as an anniversary or birth of a child. No matter what you choose to celebrate or remember, the holidays make the perfect time to do so.

This segment marks my first video blog post here on LiWBF. It took some time for me to get comfortable enough in front of the camera, but I really want to get to know the folks who support this blog. I’ve also chosen to bring you into my home with this week’s #OOTD segment by showcasing a super comfy/convertible outfit that goes from camera ready to chilling-at-home ready in no time.
And what better way to break that ice barrier than to talk about the beauty of our Christmas trees. Whether you’ve chosen to go the route of the real pine cone scented wonder or like me, you have several artificial trees that you pull out each year to decorate in the style of your desires, the beauty and intrigue of Christmas trees fills us with joy and peace each time we take in the sight of its beauty.
Each Christmas, I choose between two trees: a green pine and white spruce. After choosing the tree, I decide on the color scheme. For the past there years, I’ve gone with a theme that showcases the beauty of our white tree. This year, we chose the snow-speckled pine tree and returned to a classic color scheme: red and gold.
In the video, I talk more about the story behind this tree and we’ve even added some lovely Christmas music to go along with the video. Now, this is my first Fabulous Home vlog so bear with me as I talk to you about our family traditions. I threw in a bit of humor to lighten the mood and hope you enjoy the results.
Here’s wishing you and your family a gorgeously Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
