OOTD Brighten A Rainy Day Featuring Sheinside

There’s just something so very special about bell sleeves. I mean, this is one trend that hooked me right from the start. So when I was selected for this collaboration with Sheinside and had to choose a fashionable item to showcase, the decision was super easy.

I bet you’ve seen this blouse many times. I most certainly have checked it out. Sheinside ads featuring this blouse run across my blog. Somewhere I’ve heard that folks have to see a picture of something at least seven times before committing to a buy. Maybe that’s what happened with me. Thank you Sheinside marketing gurus.




This gorgeous bell sleeve beauty fits true to size and won so many compliments the day I wore it out. The fit is super comfy and has enough Boho gusto to satisfy my needs. I’ve bought many items from Sheinside throughout the years, so I knew what to expect as far as quality of the material. The blouse fit well and true-to-size. The fabric flowed around my body as a shift dress/shirt should do.

A shirt like this one needs to be paired with either skinny, straight leg, or boot cut jeans such as the ones I’m wearing in the photo. You can dress this shirt up with golden accessories as I’ve done. Or you can dress it down by leaving the accessories at home. Both jeans and black leggings work wonders with this shirt. I chose to wear jeans simply because I’ve tried to venture out of the black leggings arena and give other colorful pants a chance to shine. This is a tough job, but someone has to do it. LOL




Either way, this bell sleeved beauty will help you brighten a rainy day or any other day for that matter. One thing I do need to mention is that the color in the promotional photo on the Sheinside website is a bit darker than this blouse which is a true deep bloody red. The gorgeous thing about this shade of red is that it changes colors in different lights. This was a step outside of my comfort zone, as I’m not normally a lover of red. However, I thoroughly wearing this blouse and cannot wait to pair it with black leggings next weekend. 🙂
