A Fashion Story Vintage Motorcycle Jacket Babe
Today’s edition of A Fashion Story involves a bit of the personal as well as the stylish. First, I want to say thank you for three years of awesome blogging and sharing of your time with us here at Live Well…Be Fabulous! This blogazine started as no more than an idea blowing in the wind, yet it quickly became so much more.
Now we have several ventures spinning off this blog based on the feedback you’ve all given me throughout the years. I’ve no doubt that by the end of this year, I’ll be fully focused on LiWBF and all its spinoffs and partnerships and creating the best lifestyle experience possible for you my dearest readers and friends.
Thanks so much for being a pretty darn awesome group if folks and for being there with me throughout this journey that’s about to get even more exciting this year.

Now, on to this week’s story. The motorcycle jacket was given to me by my favorite aunt named Ida just before she passed away 30 years ago. Yes, it’s a true vintage piece which is why you’ll see this beauty used several times throughout my fashionable ventures. I was a little girl and had NO idea what it meant to be fashionable when I inherited this leather jacket along with two other rust-colored ones. All three jackets are in style again.
I inherited my fashionably unique sense of style from my Aunt Ida and she would be thrilled to see how well I’ve taken care of her favorite items, and she’d especially love to see the popularity of her jackets on Instagram.
The blouse, an H&M lovely I found while replenishing our boutique, StraightUpEve, adds the perfect touch of soft versatility to the jacket and black Express jeggings. I went with light-colored ankle booties to break up the black and keep the outfit interesting. If you haven’t already done so then make sure to visit our Poshmark boutique, StraightUpEve, and take a peek at our selections.
The necklace is yet another lovely statement piece by Perry Street via Rocksbox. And the lipstick..the star of our next edition of KayLeigh’s Lipstick Diaries and my newest obsession Milani’s Amore Matte Lip Creme in Sugar.
We specialize in vintage, unique, and hard-to-find fashion and will also shop for you. Need a personal shopper who also doubles as a stylist? Then email me at straightupeve@gmail.com and tell us what you need. I’m also excited to announce the opening of our official online store in early March and a pop up store that’s coming soon to the Triangle.
2017 is the year for dreams to come true. I can’t wait to share more of this incredible journey with you!
