We couldn’t let this season get away without making a gift guide for travelers. As Live Well Be Fabulous has shifted to a focus on travel, we’ve found that being prepared for a trip helps make the experience that much less stressful. Most times that’s what traveling is all about.
Sharing memories and the unforgettable moments of heading into a new culture. Whether you’re exploring that artsy new district that just opened up in your city or heading to the Mediterranean for an exotic getaway, the right travel gear makes for a pleasant trip and unforgettable experience.
Let’s jump into the gift guide.

The best way to keep your valuables safe and hidden when you’re out and about on the town or village depending on where you’ve landed. The flip belt works not only for holding giant phablets like my Note 8 but it also keeps pickpockets s guessing about where you hid your goodies. My flip belt goes along with me on both trips and marathons.

Travelon Wheeled Carry-On BagThey come in all sizes flavors and shapes these days so we’ve compiled a group of them in the widget below. I don’t know about you but when I’m taking a quick domestic trip I prefer to carry my goods on board. This is when sophisticated hard-bodied suitcases come in handy. These little babies make sure you don’t over stuff and go beyond the required carry on dimensions the way we women tend to do.

Laptop sleeve

I’m constantly online with both aspects of my professional lives. My laptop travels along with me wherever I go. These stylish sleeves add a touch of style to your digital brain while keeping it safe and free of scratches.
I’m a runner. When I take on long distance marathons (13+ miles) then I live and die by my compression clothing.  Same goes for sitting through long flights. The circulation in your legs joined with the pressures of flight take a toll on your body. Compression clothing and especially compression socks help ease this discomfort.
Can’t praise it enough. Smells great. Works wonderfully well. Dry cabin air skin… be gone forever. This lotion does an awesome job of moisturizing your skin without leaving behind a greasy residue.
They come in all wonderful sizes and colors and have omnidirectional wheels. A little thing that I’ve found comes in super handy when walking through airports. This porcelain rose suitcase by Ted Baker is everything tho right?
I cannot stress the importance of rehydrating your skin when traveling. From the myriad of different atmospheres you’ll experience to the arid cabin air of the plane, your face will be exposed to all sorts of elements in a medley of environments.
Aka the trusty messenger bag. Not to be confused with the carry bag we mentioned earlier. This one actually works better for business-related trips when you need more work from mobile items on you at all times versus your toiletries and beauty products. Just as the shell of the modern suitcase has changed so has the style of the messenger bag. Get a high-quality one made of good leather to last decades to come.

If you have a jacked up phone like the Galaxy Note series or the iPhone 7 and up then you have a portable DSLR in hand and you should take a bow for owning such fantastical beasts. No kidding. Even without the attached lens, these babies come with highly advanced cameras that contain dual lenses and the ability to shoot YouTube quality videos on the spot. Imagine what you’ll be able to do with these lenses on board. We’ve done the hard work for you and weeded through a few of the best.

Facial Wipes

Nope. You shouldn’t travel without them. Why? Because the struggle with last-minute flight changes and layovers is real. You don’t want to be stuck using airport goodies to clean your face if say, for example, that layover moves from an hour timeframe to twelve hours or more. Yes, it happens.
Sure, you have the passport booklet. But that little baby needs protection from the elements. What better way to do so than by putting your most valuable document inside a gorgeous protector.
$109.00
Stylish, classic, warm and easy to wear on a plane. These work during both the summer and winter and always come in handy at both times. The climate of each airport varies and some planes make you feel as though you’re sitting in an ice cabin.
$99 or 5 payments of $20/mth!
I can’t push the value of these little babies enough. Ebooks are now the norm and most of them come with the ability to listen to the audiobook file as well. I use my Galaxy Note 8 for reading and writing. However, I also have an iPad mini which I mainly use for reading documents. The size is close enough to the pages of a real book without overwhelming with the thickness of the spine. If you have that one person who just can’t seem to give up their paperbacks, then show them a Kindle Paperwhite and I guarantee you’ll find a believer.

PAIRCan we say sneakers, anyone? It should go without saying that you’ll need a great pair of these babies for your trip right? Don’t pick just any old thin soled pair. You want to go for the kind that provides foot comfort and support. After all, Barcelona has some of the best sites around so you want to make sure your feet are up for the job.
GlocalMe G3 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot, [Upgraded Version] Worldwide High Speed WiFi Hotspot with 1GB Global Initial Data, No SIM Card Roaming Charges International Pocket WiFi Hotspot MIFI Device (Black)
The last and most important one on the list. Don’t take the chance of a) racking up extreme levels of data charges o your regular carriers plan or b) trusting local hotspots of any kind. Please take my advice. I’ve gotten hacked by using public wi-fi before and it’s not a good feeling at all. Portable wi-fi has come a long way. Talk to your carrier about the best way to use yours.
