We made it Agents of Fabulosity!

The day of love is here. Recently I returned to writing romance novels. The one that I’m working on now includes an element of time travel. I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am about the story. Finishing this novel has been a long time a coming so to see the events and lives of the characters take shape in the way they’ve done brings me all kinds of joy.

You can read all about my book worlds (there are lots of them now) on my author website at kasonndraleigh.com.

Which brings us to the subject of today’s post. For our 19th day and most special day in the 21 Days of Loving Me marathon, I wanted to do something unique on the day of love… Valentine’s Day.

Whether you’ll be celebrating with girlfriends (bring on the valentine bubbly) or pulling out a bottle of Duplin while binge-watching A Discovery of Witches on the Sundance channel or escaping to a gorgeous mountain retreat, you’ll appreciate the playlist we’ve come up with, a collection of tunes that will both soothe your mind and compliment the bubbly. You did remember to bring the wine, right?

I’m excited about this year’s 21 Day marathon because it has been one of our most aggressively successful runs since we started back in 2014. All five of the Live Well Be Fabulous empires are up and running and your generous support of each one of my business endeavors has truly put me in the mood even though I am single.

We have an end of marathon celebration giveaway going on here so don’t forget to stop by and enter.

You see, loving yourself opens so many doors and opportunities simply because you’re willing to spread the joy when you do so. This isn’t something we think about or have to fake. When we love ourselves and practice gratitude then the magic surrounds us. This special aura attracts people and pulls them to us like magnets.

To me, the essence of Valentine’s Day should be about nurturing these qualities whether you consider yourself single, married, or it’s complicated. I most certainly intend to do so. Btw, binge-watching the A Discovery of Witches series ain’t a half bad decision for anyone. Trust me.

So without further writerly babble ado, let’s move on to the reason you stopped by today… the playlist. This isn’t your typical top 40 list of bump and grind. Nah. You’ll find some hidden gems in this group. Some oldies. Lots of goodies. Some well-known names and others that’ll make you say “who the heck?” There’s something for every romantic situation on this list which is why we chose to call it romantica.

A few of my faves from this list:

Mercy by Duffy

I Wanna Know What Love Is Foreigner

One More Try Mariah Carey

Save the Best for Last Vanessa William’s

Boom by Anjulie

Against All Odds by the legendary Phil Collins

Eternal Flame the Bangles

Have a most awesome Valentine’s Day!
