The Life Survival Checklist May 2019

Can you believe we’re over halfway done with the month of May?
It has been a while since I last posted a Life Survival Checklist. There has been so much going on behind the scenes here at LiWBF and in my life since then.

Most of these events revolve around three major aspects of LiWBF’s growing empire along with a few new additions to the family including a young men’s lifestyle blog called the School Yard Boys and a YouTube channel which you all love.

I want to say thank you so very much for helping us reach 500 subscribers. YouTube recognizes that as a milestone and I would never have gotten there without your help. I cannot wait to share all the great ideas we have with you on that platform.
As usual, there have been leaps ahead in a few areas and some setbacks in others. The world of LiveWellBeFabulous continues to change and attract more followers each day.  I truly appreciate your support in that way.
On that note, I’ll end this introduction with one of my favorite motivational quotes:
Be the star that lights up the sky when others around you have fallen… by your bloggerly host.

Here we go!

1. Reading –  Beloved by Toni Morrison and Shadow of Souls by Deborah Harkness.  I’ve returned to reading more fiction this year and feel as though I’ve come home after a long journey away. While I still devour nonfiction audiobooks on a daily basis, I missed the thrill of escaping into another realm… preferably one that was created by someone else.
2. Writing – The Emerald Isle (Pathseekers Book #2) and several blog posts for LiWBF’s many fun new spinoff websites.  In case you’re not familiar with each one then here they are:

3. Loving – Being a sponsor for World Vision. The child that I’m sponsoring lives in Romania. Thanks to my donations (a small fee considering the extent of the benefits for the family) my child has now begun attending school and receives medical care whenever necessary. Take some time to stop by and peek at their website when you get a chance. You never know. You might find a child who steals your heart as well.
4. Wearing –  2019 has been all about sticking to a budget for me. That means less impulse shopping and more strategizing. This includes choosing thrift items and taking time to comb through the aisles of my local discount clothing store. I’m also shopping in my closet and working with brands that represent our mission statement. Today I’m wearing one of several ice green boho style dresses I found by a brand called Fashion Force. Let me tell you they are Heavenly and versatile in so many ways.

5.  Enjoying – My daily meditations and affirmations. Taking some time to simply stop and think about nothing each day works wonders for the soul. Recently, I finished the 15 Minute Manifestation program by Eddie Sergey. A full review of my results after completing this program will be posted soon. In the meantime, if you’d like to learn more about the power of manifestation and meditation then the perfect place to start would be our sister website, Mystikaly.com.
6. Recovering from – The task of wearing too many hats at one time and the event mentioned in the following bullet.
7.  Watching –  Game of Thrones season eight, and I’m totally not sure how I feel about it right now. That’s the topic of another article altogether. In that one, we’ll discuss how the characters made the show such a hit and how to apply that experience to everyday life.
8. Eating  – Meals from Hello Fresh and loving every bit of each one. On my list of things to do differently this year, I listed choosing healthier dinners at the top of that column. So far, I’ve done well with sticking to this goal. I’ve limited my intake of both pizza and hamburgers and am actively choosing balanced meals. If you’d like to try Hello Fresh then please use my link to signup and receive a $40 credit towards your plan. Give it a try and then come back and let us know if you enjoy Hello Fresh meals as much as we do.
9. Mad About – Mindless murders and hate crimes of ANY type. There’s no reason or justification for being this way. This blurb still hasn’t changed.
10.  Crushing on – Matvey Lykov and a gorgeous movie I found on Amazon Prime called I Am Dragon. While I’m not allowed to post photos of which I don’t have permission, I will drop this link to the gorgeous trailer on YouTube so you can see for yourself. I believe Lykov would make the perfect Seth Alton, the charismatic bad boy hero of my Lost Immortals Saga novels.
